JAM suggestions?

A few folks have been belly-aching about Brewer's Jam. TVHA (homebrew club) is a big part of the logistics behind the event, but we don't really do much regarding the planning and overall organization of the JAM. We do, however, have a good avenue for channeling suggestions to improve it. What sort of things would you folks like to pass along to the organizers? Seriously, give me some general or specific complaints and suggestions, we have the ear of Community Shares and they should know what needs to be done to improve and keep the event viable, not to mention make it more enjoyable in the future.

beer lines

The worst part is having to wait in line for beer. Not much you can do about that but I have a suggestion. Create lanes for each brewer's tent. Use rope and stakes driven into the ground or into buckets filled with something heavy to mark off an area about 10-15 feet in front of each tent. Each tent could possibly have an enter and exit lane. That way not as many people would be cutting lines and once people got beer they would leave and not just stand in the way. Here's a diagram:

or even this would work:

but not this:

Just an idea. Of course later in the day the system would probably fall apart.

How about

They limit the number of tickets sold so as to avoid such insane overcrowding. "Beer loading only zones" would be a lot easier to maintain then.

I really like your diagram
